Our highest goal is to welcome you to our island in the warmest way.

We want so much to share with you our love and enthusiasm for the many treasures that exist in this little known tip of the 'old world'.

We believe the tranquility of this place will recharge your body, and spirit - as it always recharges ours. It will be so much fun to explore it all, from the tiniest endemic wild flower, to the biggest waterfall; from a simple slice of country bread and cheese, to the most sumptuous seafood dish. Everything is fuller here, air, stars, flowers, food, sunsets, and tranquility, all the simple delights of life.

In each of our roamings, we'll discover bit by bit, the history, ecology, culture, folklore, customs, and even some language. Yes, hopefully , you will come away knowing a bit of Portuguese.....

We plan all walks and treks, but with flexibility in mind. Some excursions must be booked, with these, there can be little flexibility. At times, we 'play it by ear'. Say that a scheduled trek was planned on one side of the island experiencing fog, then we go to plan B, trekking on the other side. These decisions, we usually make as a group.

We have very few hard and fast POLICIES, and we encourage everyone to call us anytime to discuss their expectations & get to know one of us before the tour. We love the island so much, and never get sick of talking about it. It is our sincere hope, and heartfelt wish that your time in Flores be the perfect respite from the fast pace of daily life. We hope the island's tranquility will leave a permanent imprint on your spirit.

Participate in as many, or as few activities as you choose, the choice is yours. While Some guests come for solitude, others come to participate in group fun. Everyone is very, very welcome & we highly respect everyone's needs.
